I am a High School student in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. TradeWars is probably my favorite online activity. Unlike most TradeWars players, I do not use an IBM-compatible computer, but rather a Macintosh G3. I often write and modify lengthy AppleScripts (One is over 100,000 characters long) for my helper of choice, TWScripter. Because I cannot run traditional PC client scripts (REXX and the like), I have come up with some very unusual (not to mention deadly) scripts indeed. I was CEO and webmaster of the now-defunct Think Different Alliance, a permacorp dedicated almost exclusively to mac users. I have also designed and coded (by hand) the Fugitives From Fate website.
Other hobbies include tinkering with and repairing just about anything, watching Sci-Fi programs including Star Trek, Farscape, and Andromeda, helping Mac users on the Apple technical help forums, listening to Techno music, and eating hot dogs, pringles, and coke. My political causes include repealing the DMCA, and the preservation of our Bill of Rights from evils such as the Total Information Awareness system.
My plans for the future include a degree in Computer Science, and a career in Information Technology.
Vietnam Era Army veteran working in Hospitality Food Services.... bartender, banquet waiter and sometimes make public appearance as a "show chef." Hobbies include on-line gaming, chess and listening to good music. Interests include Sci Fi, History, comparative religion and fine foods.
Lets see, male, 6'1, Hazel eyes, brown hair, bad eye sight. Age: 28
Hobbies: Playing Starcraft: Broodwar, Listening to music, watching movies, Playing Max Payne, hanging out with friends.
I'm still single, and don't have any kids (weird I know).
Been playing TW since 1992. I'm 31 years old with a full time job so I only get a few hours to satisfy my TW addiction. I prefer 1200k turn or less games with mild edits. I don't play unlims or whacked edit games. I've been a co-sysop for the last 2 years on Toadville TWGS and have designed about 5 games that have gone into full time play. I more or less run the games and Toad runs the server. I'm an avid sport bike (Suzuki GSX-R 600) rider and go on Sunday rides each week with 5-40 other riders. I love to rip it up in the canyons. If it's Sunday I won't be in a game unless it's raining or I'm in traction from a wreck. What else? I got a Spanish girlfriend, like to hang with friends on Saturday night, and drink Gray Goose vodka with 7-up and lime.

I started playing TW about 2 years ago, on Eleq's/Fuse's board. Learned most of my red skills there playing with Res, Supg, and Epicenter. Hobbies include reading, hockey, soccer, tennis, martial arts, and weight lifting and of course TW.
I run a small business as a financial analyst. I like all sorts of music, but I listen mostly to progressive trance and hip-hop.
I started playing TWars in the late 80's on a local bbs in Tennessee. I didn't learn much then and even though I found the game again a couple year ago, I still have much to learn. Can I be a rookie for life? I started playing again at Frogland where Father Cajone graciously took me under his wing. I am forever devoted to him for his attention.
I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with my husband of 34 years. I am the Office Manager for a CPA where I specialize in income tax. My favorite hobby is listening to Jimmy Buffett music.
I'd have to say that I'm probably not the typical player. Oh, I'm just as crazy as the next and just as addicted, but I'm also a Grandmother, with 3 grown children. Maybe that is the reason I have developed a 'motherly' relationship with several young players. I love the game, but I also treasure the players I've gotten to know.
I am honored by the invitation to join Fugitives From Fate because they are players that I respect, trust and admire.
Hugz to the following:
- Illusion who tried to kill me, got mad when I teased him, and taught me my first macro. He has never let me down.
- Intrepid, a great teacher, waayyy more than a killer, a fellow parrothead, who puts the game and r/l in the proper perspective.
- Lord Talon for looking me up everytime he comes back to the game and giving me the confidence I need.
- Sir Lancelot for teaching me tolerance and patience.
- Speedy for being Speedy.
