Curious about Linux, but don’t want to repartition your drive or buy a new one? Try KNOPPIX. Download the ISO, then burn it to CD. Once that simple task is accomplished, just boot off of it. There are over 2 gigs of installed software on the CD. Includes favorites like Mozilla, KDE 3.1.1, OpenOffice, XMMS (Winamp), Xine, Gimp.. list goes on and on. It’s based on Debian, so it’s easy to use as well.
KNOPPIX will detect almost any kind of hardware on boot. It even works well in my laptop. Try it out.
