ELITE is a term, not a skill! If your willing to put in the time and effort to learn TW in/out...your on the right road to joining the "elite" crowd! And who cares if noone knows your name....its that much of an advantave you have over them in compeition. Why? Because they will underestimate you, ignore you, leave you alone, not waste turns/resources on you, and you will rule the game! And there is no such thing as losing a game for an Elite type player, for every game something is learned, a new trick is thought up, and a new stratigic move is taken to the next game....If you play your best, you are a WINNER in every game you play. Motto respons to email from eleq 7/19/00 I haven't seen your page in awhile, but I can't believe you're bringing up this Elite garbage again. I can't stand that term because it causes nothing but resentment. But if were held at gunpoint and told I HAD To define it or die, here is my response... Elite is someone who will do ANYTHING to win, stop at nothing. Of course that is my definition of a great player. You've got to be resilient, have heart, skills, time (yes, time!), determination, patience, intelligence, strategy and the ability to overcome adversity. I know what it will take to win the BOTE, and that's why, Intergate's well-above-average team be damned, no one is going to stop me or the ensemble of players I've put together to get it done. I wake up for extern with FIRE in my eyes. I left myself on all day to scare evils away from Doc. My corp's outrageous amount of resources is put to use everyday, and that's why we are whacking other players like weeds on our BOTE lawn. You want to know who's elite? Guardian's elite. He commits to a game and does what need to be done to win. Maverick's elite. His BK corp got reamed in the BOTE, but he's right back in there reasserting this fact. Look at Cruncher, Ret. Ret promised me to f' r/l so we could win this one last game. And right now, looking at the WTC, you can see some other players who most-likely have figured out how to cross that threshold. Look at Attila and Barnhill. They had a plan and executed it. What about Hekate? Putting hurt to the league games with relatively new players and superb leadership. The next great CEO is here, get on her train if she lets you. That's my opinion. Don't complain because I'm nut-crazy to do anything to take the BOTE. 1068 min's ain't shit. Eleq
