Big Tymers Game Cancelled
Department of Redundancy Department
Timberwolf has made a statement over at Fugitives From Fate. In it he says he sees no point in keeping TWGazette around just to repost news found on other sites. Good thing I don’t do that. All original news here at The Stardock!
What do YOU want?
What particular game, or type of game, do you want? Maybe a blue game? A red game? Extreme edits? A rebang of a popular game like Phade or Octane?
Maybe you’re a sysop and want to play in a game you’ve created yourself? Let me know in the forums.
First Batch of Game Winners
The winners of Phade are: Dr. Who, Snow White, Mush Morton, Leila, Peacemaker.
The winners of Minor Enhancements are: Cherokee, the reverend, Tweety, Armediam, Vader.
Alternate Dimensions
AD banged yesterday, and it’s kind of off to a slow start, so git yer ass in there! All ships will have 8.0 defensive odds till Sunday, when all hell breaks loose. Plus, planets will hit Level 4 in 5 days, Level 5 in 7.
The CEO of Corp 2 was bragging how he was going dominate so thoroughly, teams in other games were going to quit.
Paradise to rebang 11/8 9pm
All games are over at The Lost Traders Tavern.
Killer Instinct – won by GrazHoppa and Skukkukt
Killer Instinct SOLO – won by Blackjack
Paradise – won by -=Mythrandir=-, Scorch, GrazHoppa, and Root
Everyone seems to love the Paradise edits, so it will rebang with no changes on Saturday night at 9pm. Killer Instinct will return in a few weeks.

New Games Coming to The Stardock
Sunday, November 9th at 9am Pacific, Alternate Dimensions opens for rare Trade Wars experience. For one week, AD will be configured with extremely high defensive odds, and settings geared to making exploration diificult. In that week, the objective will be to raise as many level 4 planets as you can.
When that week is over, the game will be broken into two separate games, each with new ships, planets and settings. In one game, you’ll want to be prepared for a conservative war waged with Imperial Starships, the other, all-out terror with extremely dangerous ships and lots of unexpected surprises.
The core game will start with 1200 turns, and then 600 each when the games split.
Also..
Wednesday, November 12th, “Big Timers” opens with 3000 turns. People have been clamoring for some high turns, well, here you go. Settings to be made public when the game opens. Be prepared.
Game Settings Now Also Available
Now you can love on a game before you even enter it.
Minor Enhancements Off to Late Start
Sorry, I’ve been sick and I just woke up. It’s up now. I just had to activate it.
Alarm clocks? What are those?
New Games Coming to The Stardock
– Wednesday, October 29th, “Minor Enhancements” opens with near-stock settings. This game will serve as the basis of the Stardock Stock settings we’ll use repeatedly in the future. 750 turns, high port regeneration, planets slightly sped up and minor adjustments to the ships. Nothing radical. Game starts at 6:30pm Pacific Time.
– Friday, October 31st, “Sloppy Leftovers” opens. 1500 turns and ships with high offensive odds. A no death delay will allow you back in as soon as you want to be in, but a death limit will slow you a bit. Two man corps, transwarp-equipped trading ships and safe routes to Stardock will give you a fighting chance.
