Dunno why, I didn’t receive the actual ICQ from Soul saying that it was cancelled. This is just what I was told when I logged to the StarDock BBS Teleconference around 10pm EST last night. WEJL was down when I tried. Once I find out more I’ll post it. So far the Bad Girl/Guardian USO ’01 interview is still on for this Saturday at 8pm Central!

There are currently 16 teams signed up for the United States Open 2001 at the present time. If you haven’t already signed up, do so now! If you do not have a team, post a message in one of the many forums out there (there is a link at the bottom of the right-hand column to sign up for the tradewars_2002 eGroup–or Yahoo!Group, which ever you prefer to call it). There are still a few players who have a couple of spots to fill! Time is running out!

Seems like a lot has happened in the BOTE 2000 recently. Check out this message posted by MacAhan this morning in the err YahooGroups–::cough::gay::cough:: (YahooGroups that is). Anyway, looks like this game is basically over, but not officially yet.

Two new teams have entered the USO ’01 since my last update. “Rogue Mercenaries” consists of Earth – CEO, Adder, Nefidar, Peanut, Dunbar Felton, and Doctor Who. The second team is one of my original corporations since I’ve begun Internet TW play, “Nav Haz Unlimited” consisting of Dark One – CEO, Fuseblown, Darth Vader, Illusion, Deathwing, and one TBA. Are you tired of your Trade Wars games being decided when the fat lady sings? Are you tired of your elections (and Trade Wars games) being improperly handled with the results being published before the election is even over? Are you tired of intellectual trash like Wheel of Fortune refusing to accept Canadian contestants?

That is not the Canadian way, we are not the 51st state, and as Canadians, we should have a Canadian tournament on a Canadian server moderated by a Canadian sysop with rules posted in both English and in French. We must take action!
