Holy POOP Batmang! Someone actually wrote a script to collect credits from toll figs!

I here to report that Fonderwolf reports that there is nothing to report in TW because The Home Sector reports off-topic news.

I also want to report that I had that I hate that stupid script he has before you can read his page because it makes his page unreadable in Konqueror and impossible to scroll in Linux Mozilla. To view his page, I have to load Win4Lin’s copy of Windows 98 on my Mandrake 9.1 box, then load Internet Explorer, then I can finally look to see that his report is reporting about me not reporting.

Finally, I want to state that I love Subway’s tuna sandwich and I plan to have yet another one today. I may even add some chips and extra jalapenos. Thank-you.

The new Update Checker is back by popular demand. Unfortunately, not all sites will work with the Update Checker. In what I consider a “good thing”, some sites out there aren’t just static HTML pages.

Take Memphis TW as an example. It has rotating text scripts or graphics, fooling the Update Checker into thinking it’s constantly updating. So I don’t check Memphis TW (or Online Multiplayer Gaming Network), because it would always show as newly updated.

The Checker will run every hour. If a site updated and the Checker did not reflect it, please ICQ me at 7971550 or AIM me at “EleqTriziT”. I will try to figure out what’s wrong.

Also, since there is only one website that has updated since it went online (mine), all the rest are just BS until real updates happen.

I’ve been meaning to try the rev helper out just because it sure sounds cool. It must be, because someone wouldn’t keep developing something if people didn’t want it. Check out the newest release of rev helper.

Paradise 50k – Paradise edits, 50k turns, 20k sectors.

30 minute STOCK – NO Gold, NO mbbs, everything is PURE stock except for the 30 minute time limit. Yes, this means 250 turns, 1000 sectors, no photons, 5% port regen… the ONLY thing I am changing from a default big bang is the 30 minute time limit. No game monitoring (by script or by hand) to circumvent the time limit. Play your 30 minutes and log off till the next day.

Starting tomorrow night, the new web registration system will be in place for new accounts. Email will no longer be required.

Damn, finally! Some exciting news in the TW universe. TWX 2.0 has been released and is ready for download! What kills me is this line from the download page, “new internals give it room for loads of new features and much faster processing.” How much faster can it get?

What’s going down? No one knows. Some say JP is busy with Realm Interactive and TW: Dark Millenium. Judging by www.tradewars.com and it’s current non-existence, jack is happening over there (although who knows; I could be wrong).

Friday, Feb. 14th (today, for a couple more minutes here on the East Coast) marks the one-year anniversary of the LAST update out of EIS.

Is it time for this game to die? I realize it probably won’t, but what’s going to happen to TW? Will it move on to new hands to be maintained and updated?

I hate to be skeptical against JP and EIS, he’s an awesome guy and I commend him for a job well-done. He lost a valued helper in Rave (R.I.P.) when she passed back in November. Maybe things will pick up in the future.. but it hasn’t looked too good for the past 12 months.
