I’m upping the tests a little bit. An unlimited turn game just banged last night for the hell of it. The game will run to it’s natural conclusion. Please report all problems/observations to this forum thread.
You’re more stupid than we Think
Sorry Mr. Entertainment, but you’re overestimating the cranial capacity of our readers. I think only Boss Hogg is qualified to explain the SCO vs IBM lawsuit to these people.
SCO vs. IBM
In this difficult time within the technology world, it is my solemn duty to keep you, my humble readers, informed. So, I have spent weeks; nay.. months, scouring the internet for a suitable explanation of the legal suit mentioned in the title of this piece. I believe I have now found a suitable explanation, in a form we, TW junkies, can all understand. It is in the form of an IRC chatlog… I hope this clears things up. Thanks for listening.
TMI
From the Kool-Aid Man to hollywood celebrities, TMI or Too Much Information has become a large part of the lexicon of modern
vernacular. And with that, I give you the latest entry, by a member of the TW community, into the annals of TMI.
BBS WILL RETURN
Friday, June 27th at 7pm Pacific Time, The Stardock BBS will open once again! However, you will not have to wait long to test the BBS. BBS testing will begin IMMEDIATELY in two stages…
The BBS is open NOW running the TWGS in demo mode. Nothing special here other than to get reaquainted with the BBS software, remember your passwords and to get a feel for the system and its speed. ALL ACCOUNTS up to September of 2001 are still active!
The next stage will be testing some new software that will allow me some control over the users of the TWGS. I hope to enforce timelimits with AUTHORITY thanks to a front-end BBS program. I also hope to finally integrate BBS-wide paging straight into the TWGS. During this phase, I will be banging some games to actually play and goof off with.
Then on Friday, June 27th, the TWGS will close and reopen with MASSIVE, the wildly popular game I closed on (Sorry about that…ok not really..), and some unlimited turn action with the brand new game, Res IBitchAlota. More games will be banged in the days after the official reopening.
Ender Goes OFF!
I get upset sometimes, and RANT sometimes… but dude, does being on Res’ team in Big Game necessitate loss of control, and instigate instability? This dude is WAY out there!
Though I must say, I will be reading this site whenever its updated… I love seeing people insulted in such a vague, nondescript way, with so little reason. Maybe this guy’s problem is that he takes it all too seriously? You be the judge… Let us know what Ender’s problem is.
I’m only 8.2% Geek
I’m not surprised. I am a bad, bad man.
How Geeky are you?
This was fun, I am 42.01183% geek, a Major Geek.
Maybe Res should run for president?
Apparently our former President is no less chemically challenged than our beloved Res Judicata.
Player of the month
Well its been awhile since my last post, been busy in the Big Game 2 and other smaller games. So I will take this opportunity to start a new, and hopefully regular feature. I will post player reviews of players that I think are worth mentioning, and call it “Player of the Month”.
The very first subject of this new feature is Timborulz.
Timborulz is a player I have been watching for years. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest players currently playing the game. He has a great deal of game knowledge, and he is very intelligent. He is an amazing script writer, as he focuses on Java scripts run under SWATH. Indeed, his scripts are some of the most impressive I have ever seen, well, not really seen, you see he does not release his scripts to the public, and only gives his corpies compiled versions that work in specific games.
He is very secretive when it comes to his game tech, and equally quiet in public. Sure he might talk over Fed a bit, and anyone that has played with him can attest to how much he talks over subspace. But, he is noticeably absent from the public TW forums, his recent spat with Cherokee a rare exception. This may be one of the most respectable things about Timborulz, he does not gloat in forums, and he does not parade his greatness. He simply performs in game.
Like all players of his caliber, he makes certain demands on those he plays with, regarding dependability and communication, but of all the great players I have watched, he is one of the least demanding. He goes about playing with a great precision. His perma-corp, Star Endeavors (site seems to be down as of this writing), has been one of the perma-dynasties of recent times, with no other perma having as much success in the last couple years.
I would expect Timborulz to continue at his level play and dominance as long as he wants to. And I look forward to seeing more games with Timborulz leading a team to victory, or near-victory.
