Timberwolf had just banged a game over at Intergate BBS. It’s dubbed the Turkey Shoot, 5,000 Sectors, 1,000 Turns, some ship edits, etc. Go check it out!Timberwolf will also be banging “Sudden Death” over at Intergate on Saturday, December 9th. It will feature 1-man corporations, 1-death limit, no pods, & 1-day entry. Ship and planet edits will be announced later in the week over at TWGazette.

Not completely. But it is the best thing to hit BBS’s since the modem, it’s Fusion MBBS-style! What am I talking about you ask? Well, why don’t you go see for yourself!

I had this great idea the other day for Aitvo. I said, “create a version of Fusion GS that mimicks the operation of a MajorBBS.” And lo-and-behold, I return from out of town and he’s doing just that! Linux man extraordinare and creator of Fusion GS will soon have an MBBS clone that won’t cost a dime! I plan to get in on the programming action by coding a teleconference that will also mimick MBBS. Aitvo be da man!

The Script formally known as Space Ghost didst harken a challenge to those who would accept: “I have Blocked off SD in an unbeatable Script… get to StarDock…” Guess who won? After round one, the script did proclaim: “Oh wait, did I say unbeatable? I meant it was beatable! this new script is unbeatable!” And thus begain Round two. Guess who won again? So what have we learned today kids? If computers take over the world, at least we can still beat them at TradeWars.

When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on a Seattle street, he got much more than he bargained for. Police arrived at the scene to find an ill man curled up next to a motor home beside spilled sewage. A police spokesman said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline and plugged his hose into the motor home’s sewage tank by mistake. The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges, saying that it was the best laugh he had ever had.

Well I’ve been forced to say farewell to the HHT thanks to my friend Stonewall. I’ve really enjoyed myself in this game and I wish everyone who’s left the best of luck.

There is some news that I had saved in one of my e-mail folders that I forgot about and never posted. You may or may not already know these things…Stein and earth have developed a new data standard for Trade Wars helpers. This breakthrough will allow players that use ATTAC and SWATH to easily swap/share data between the two helpers. New versions of both of these helpers will allow players to export/import a TWX (TradeWars eXport) file. Those that are planning to write a helper in the future, contact Stein and earth so that they can explain how to make your helper compatible with the new TWX format.
